Initial Consultation

Firstly, we'll get to know each other a little.

Then we'll work through an assessment of your career journey to date and future goals; considering interests, skills, values, experience, education and training. This may involve an optional online self-assessment tool if required.

 

Working from a strengths based, client-centred model, I offer support to help clarify who you are and what you want, provide advice and resources to help you with career decision making. Together we create an action plan, providing direction, clarity and confidence for your next steps. This process may take more than one session to achieve a final action plan.

 

This session usually takes between 1.5 - 2 hours.

Online Self-Assessment Tool

I am a Licensed Coach for CareerSmart (student study and career decision making) and CareerIntelligence (Adults with some work experience) online self-assessment tools.

 

CareerSmart considers:

  • Your background

  • Things important to you

  • Motivations

  • Interests

  • Strengths

CareerIntelligence considers:

  • Life Values

  • Work Values

  • Career Motivators

  • Fields of Work

  • Functions/Skills

  • Work Competencies

​

Time: may take about 60 minutes to complete

Cost: $50

​

A 60 minute follow-up consultation is required to work through the report, which you get to keep.

​

The value of these tools are their ability to be completed in your own time, saving you the cost of an additional consultation.

Follow-up

Follow-up sessions will be needed if you have completed an online self-assessment test or if we decide that it would be of ongoing benefit.
