3. Young People (Aged 16–18)

We work with young people aged 16–18 in the context of career development.

  • Personal information is collected only with parent or guardian consent

  • We encourage transparency between the young person and their parent/guardian while respecting the young person’s voice and autonomy

  • Deliver personalised career coaching and guidance

  • Prepare reports and recommendations

  • Communicate with you about services

  • Improve our services and website experience

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to your engagement with us.

We may use digital tools, including large language models (LLMs), to support aspects of our work.

  • No personal identifiers, documents, or identifiable client information are entered into these tools

  • All outputs are reviewed and curated by Brigitte Bagg

  • Recommendations are intended as a starting point for exploration

Final decisions should reflect your own research, values, and evolving interests.

6. Storage, Security, and Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, unauthorised access, or misuse.

Your information is stored using secure, trusted platforms.

Retention

As a guideline aligned with professional practice in New Zealand:

  • Client records are typically retained for up to 7 years

  • This supports continuity of service and meets general business and legal record-keeping expectations

Information is securely deleted when no longer required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share information only:

  • With trusted service providers who support our operations and are required to safeguard your information

Some of the platforms we use (such as Zoom and Canva) may store or process data outside New Zealand.
